Uruguayan Sweet Tart
A sweet and tangy tart inspired by Uruguayan cuisine. Made with exotic ingredients and a hint of sweetness.
Ingredients
- ●2 cups Exotic Fruit (such as guanabana or passionfruit)Fresh or frozen
- ●1 sheet Sweet Tart PastryPre-made or homemade
- ●1 cup Uruguayan Dulce de LecheHomemade or store-bought
- ●1/4 cup Candy Pieces (such as chopped peanut brittle or caramel)Optional
- ●1 tablespoon Granulated SugarFor dusting

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Roll out the sweet tart pastry and place it in a tart pan with a removable bottom.

Prick the bottom of the pastry with a fork to prevent it from bubbling up during baking.

Bake the pastry for 15-20 minutes, or until it is golden brown.

Allow the pastry to cool completely.

In a separate bowl, mix together the exotic fruit and dulce de leche.

Spoon the fruit mixture into the cooled tart shell.

Sprinkle with candy pieces, if using.
