Portuguese Cod Fritters
A traditional Portuguese recipe to make crispy cod fritters with a delicate balance of flavors. Serve as a snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Portuguese Cod
- β1 1/2 cups Exquisite All-Purpose Flour
- β1 cup Flaky Breadcrumbs
- β1 large Egg
- β1/4 cup Milk
- βto taste Salt
- β1/4 cup, chopped Fresh Parsley

1. Rinse the cod under cold water, pat dry with paper towels, and cut into small pieces.

2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, eggs, milk, and a pinch of salt.

3. Add the chopped parsley to the bowl and mix well.

4. Add the cod pieces to the bowl and gently fold into the mixture.

5. Gradually add the breadcrumbs to the bowl and mix until the fritter mixture is smooth.

6. Heat about 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
