Polish Spring Dumplings
A traditional Polish dish filled with spring vegetables, served in a light broth.

- β2 cups all-purpose flour
- β1 cup warm water
- β1 cup spring vegetables (carrots, peas, onions)
- β1/2 cup polish sausage (optional)cook before adding to dumplings
- β1 package dumpling wrappers
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp black pepper
- β2 tbsp butter
- β4 cups chicken broth

Instructions

Combine flour and warm water to make dough, knead for 5 minutes.

Divide dough into 8 equal pieces, roll into balls.

Roll out each ball into a thin circle.

Place 1 tbsp of spring vegetables and 1 tsp of polish sausage (if using) in the center of each circle.

Fold dough over filling to form a half-moon shape.

Seal edges with a fork.

Bring chicken broth to a boil, add dumplings.

Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until dumplings float.
