Ukrainian Beef Skewers
A classic Ukrainian dish featuring marinated beef skewers grilled to perfection. Quick and easy to make, perfect for a summer evening.
Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs beef strips (1.5 lbs)Cut into 1-inch pieces
- β2 tbsp olive oilFor marinating
- β2 tbsp vodkaFor marinating
- β1/2 cup chopped onionFor marinating
- β1/2 cup chopped bell pepperFor marinating
- β2 cloves chopped garlicFor marinating

- β1 tsp black pepperTo taste
- β2 tbsp lemon juiceTo serve (optional)

1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, vodka, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, and chopped garlic.

2. Add the beef strips to the marinade and mix well to coat.

3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

5. Remove the beef from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.
