Fancy French Pudding
A rich and creamy French dessert, perfect for special occasions. This pudding is made with high-quality cocoa powder and topped with a layer of melted chocolate.
Ingredients

- β1/2 cup fattyunsalted butter
- β1 1/2 cups pudding
- β2 cups milk
- β1 cup sugar
- β4 eggs
- β1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a medium saucepan, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, and milk. Whisk until the sugar has dissolved.

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, whisking constantly.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the egg mixture to the saucepan, whisking constantly.

Continue to cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the melted butter until well combined.

Pour the pudding mixture into 6-8 ramekins or small baking dishes.

Place the ramekins in a large baking dish and add hot water to come halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
