Polish Fried Clams with Crispy Rice
A European-inspired seafood dish featuring clams fried in a crispy rice coating, a perfect meal for a cold evening.
Ingredients
- β12 oz clamsfresh or frozen, scrubbed and rinsed
- β2 tbsp fattyfor frying
- β2 cups crispycrispy rice coating
- β1 tbsp polishsmoked paprika
- β2 cups riceuncooked white rice
- β2 tbsp monsoonspicy sauce (optional)
Instructions

Rinse the clams and scrub them under cold water. Drain and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of crispy rice coating and 1/2 cup of uncooked white rice.

Add 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika and mix well.

Heat 2 tablespoons of fatty in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the clams to the skillet and sprinkle with the crispy rice mixture.

Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the rice is golden brown and the clams are cooked through.

Serve hot with spicy sauce (monsoon) on the side (optional).
