Fermented Portuguese Casserole with Silky Sauce and Dates

Ingredients
- β1 cup, crumbled Fermented cheese
- β1/2 cup Silky sauce
- β1 loaf, cubed Portuguese bread
- β1/2 cup Pitted dates
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- βto taste Salt
- βchopped, for garnish Fresh parsley
- β3 cloves, minced Garlic
- β1/2 cup, chopped Onion

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion; cook until softened, 3-4 minutes.

Add crumbled fermented cheese and cook until melted and fragrant, 2-3 minutes.

Stir in silky sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix together cubed Portuguese bread and chopped dates.

In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, create a layer of bread mixture.
