Beef Brochette Kebabs
A flavorful and spicy Indian-inspired dish of marinated beef brochette, cooked to perfection on skewers.

- ●1 loaf french breadfor serving
- ●500g beef (sirloin or ribeye)cut into 1-inch pieces
- ●10-12 brochettefor skewering

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (180°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp ghee or vegetable oil, 2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp ground cumin, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, and 1/2 tsp salt.

Add the beef pieces to the marinade and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

Thread the marinated beef onto the brochette, leaving a little space between each piece.

Brush the grill with oil to prevent sticking.

Grill the beef kebabs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they reach an internal temperature of 63°C (145°F) for medium-rare.

While the beef is cooking, warm the flaky pastry according to package instructions.

Serve the beef kebabs hot with warm flaky pastry and a side of naan or rice.
