French Cherry Pasta
A light and flavorful pasta dish featuring cherry tomatoes and a French twist.
Ingredients
- β8 oz flaky pastafettuccine or linguine work well
- β1 pint cherry tomatoeshalved or quartered
- β1/4 cup fresh basilchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tbsp French olive oilor other mild oil
- β1/2 cup grated Parmesanoptional
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to release their juices.

Add the chopped basil and cook for an additional minute.

Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet with the tomato mixture.

Toss to combine, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
