Indian Apple Crumble
A delicious dessert combining the sweetness of apples with the crunch of an Indian-inspired crumble topping.
Ingredients
- β3 large Applesany variety
- β1 sheet Flaky Pastrythawed
- β2 tsp Indian Spice Blendadjust to taste
- β1/2 cup Granulated Sugaradjust to taste
- β1/2 cup All-purpose Flourfor crumble topping
- β1/2 cup Cold Unsalted Buttercut into small pieces

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Peel, core, and slice the apples into a 9x9 inch baking dish.

Mix together the sugar and Indian spice blend, and sprinkle over the apples.

Roll out the flaky pastry sheet to fit the top of the baking dish.

Place the pastry on top of the apples, pressing the edges to seal.

Cut a few slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour and cold butter until crumbly.

Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the pastry.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender.
