Pork Shoulder Italian Stew
A hearty and flavorful Italian-inspired stew made with slow-cooked pork shoulder, perfect for a cold winter night.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β1 large onion
- β3 cloves garlic
- β2 medium carrots
- β2 stalks celery
- β1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- β0.5 teaspoon salt
- β0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the pork shoulder on all sides, then remove it from the pot and set it aside.

Reduce the heat to medium and cook the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until the vegetables are tender.

Add the browned pork shoulder back to the pot, along with the italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Pour in enough beef broth to cover the pork shoulder, then bring the mixture to a simmer.
