Venezuelan Chicken Bowl
A flavorful and nutritious bowl dish inspired by Venezuelan cuisine, featuring tender chicken and a variety of colorful vegetables.
Ingredients

- ●1 cup floral riceuncooked
- ●2 chewy plantainsunripe
- ●2 tsp veggie bowl seasoningdried
- ●2 tbsp olive oilfor sautéing
- ●1/4 cup fresh cilantrochopped
- ●1/2 cup red oniondiced
- ●1 tomatodiced
- ●1 avocadosliced

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Rinse the chicken breast and pat it dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breast for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for a few minutes.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the diced red onion and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until softened.

Add the diced tomato and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Stir in the veggie bowl seasoning and cook for 1 minute.

Fluff the cooked floral rice with a fork and stir in the chopped cilantro.

To assemble the bowls, slice the cooked chicken breast and place it on top of the rice mixture.
