Jamaican Frittata
A Caribbean twist on the classic Italian egg dish, featuring spicy jamaican seasoning and flaky texture.
Ingredients
- ●4 Floral Frittatastore-bought or homemade
- ●1 sheet flaky pastrythawed
- ●1 tsp Jamaican seasoningadjust to taste
- ●6 eggslarge eggs
- ●1/2 cup Shredded cheeseoptional

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the flaky pastry to a thickness of 1/8 inch (3 mm).

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, jamaican seasoning, and shredded cheese (if using).

Pour the egg mixture over one half of the pastry, leaving a 1-inch (2.5 cm) border around the edges.

Fold the other half of the pastry over the egg mixture, pressing the edges to seal.

Brush the pastry with a little bit of water and cut a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.

Place the frittata on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
