Beef Rogan Josh
A classic Indian beef curry originating from Kashmir, typically made with lamb but adapted for beef. This flavorful dish pairs well with fluffy basmati rice and british naan bread.
Ingredients
- β500g beefthinly sliced
- β250g fluffy basmati ricefor serving
- β4 british naan breadfor serving
- β1 onionchopped
- β2 tsp garam masalaground
- β1 tsp cuminground
- β1 tsp corianderground
- β1 tsp turmericground
- β1 red chilichopped
- β2 tsp roastground
- βto taste saltground
- β250ml waterfor sauce
Instructions

1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

2. Add chopped onion and sautΓ© until softened.

3. Add sliced beef and cook until browned.

4. Add ground spices (cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala) and cook for 1 minute.

5. Add chopped red chili and cook for another minute.

6. Add water and bring to a boil.

7. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
