Moroccan Salmon Tagine
A flavorful and aromatic Moroccan-inspired dish made with salmon, fluffy rice, and a rich tagine sauce.
Ingredients
- ●4 salmon filletFresh salmon fillet (about 1 lb)
- ●1 cup fluffy riceUncle Ben's or homemade fluffy rice
- ●1 cup tagine sauceHomemade or store-bought tagine sauce
- ●1/4 cup fermented olivesPitted and sliced fermented olives
- ●1 tsp moroccan spicesMix of cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and ginger
- ●2 tbsp olive oilFor cooking
- ●2 tbsp lemon juiceFreshly squeezed lemon juice

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the salmon fillet for 2-3 minutes on each side, then transfer it to the oven.

Cook the salmon for 8-10 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

While the salmon is cooking, heat the tagine sauce over medium heat.

Add the fluffy rice to the skillet with the tagine sauce and stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the rice is heated through.

Stir in the fermented olives and moroccan spices.

Serve the salmon fillet on top of the fluffy rice mixture.
