Classic Valencian Paella with Chicken
A traditional Spanish dish from the Valencia region, this paella recipe is made with succulent chicken, fragrant saffron, and crunchy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1.5 pounds Spanish chicken
- β1/2 teaspoon Fragrant saffron threads
- β1 large Crunchy red bell pepper
- β1 cup Valenciana paella rice
- β1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β2 cups Chicken broth
- βto taste Salt

Heat the olive oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic, smoked paprika, and saffron threads and cook for 1 minute.

Add the red bell pepper and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the paella rice and stir to combine with the chicken mixture.
