Traditional Moroccan Tagine with Dates
A sweet and savory Moroccan dish made with tender dates, fragrant spices, and a rich amlou sauce, slow-cooked in a traditional clay tagine.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons Amlou
- β1 cup Tagineglazed
- β1 teaspoon Fragrant spice mix
- βto taste Salt
- β1 cup Water

1. Rinse the dates and remove any pits or stems.

2. In a small saucepan, heat the amlou over low heat.

3. Add the fragrant spice mix and stir to combine.

4. Add the dates to the saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.

5. In a separate saucepan, heat the glazed tagine over medium heat.

6. Add the date mixture to the tagine and stir to combine.

7. Add the water to the tagine and bring to a simmer.

8. Reduce heat to low and let cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the dates are tender.
