- β1 lb Sonoran Stew MeatBeef or Venison
- β1 medium AvocadoDiced
- β2 medium Fragrant TomatoChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 tbsp Olive OilFor cooking
- βto taste Salt and PepperFor seasoning
- β1/4 cup Fragrant CilantroChopped (optional)

Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the stew meat and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the diced avocado, chopped tomato, and minced garlic. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 1 hour or until the meat is tender.
