Crispy Uruguayan Tofu Dumplings
A unique fusion dish that combines Uruguayan flavors with crispy tofu dumplings. This recipe is perfect for a snack or lunch.

- β1 block (14 oz) Tofu
- β1 cup Uruguayan Flour
- β8-10 wrappers Fried Dumpling Wrappers
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- βchopped (2 tbsp) Fresh Oregano
- βminced (1 clove) Garlic
- βfor frying Olive Oil
- βchopped (1/2 cup) Fresh Onion
- βchopped (1/4 cup) Fresh Scallion

1. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. In a large mixing bowl, crumble the tofu into small pieces and set aside.

3. In a separate bowl, mix together the Uruguayan flour, salt, and black pepper.

4. Add the chopped oregano, garlic, onion, and scallion to the flour mixture and mix well.

5. Add the flour mixture to the tofu mixture and mix until well combined.

6. Lay a dumpling wrapper flat on a surface and place a small spoonful of the tofu mixture in the center.

7. Fold the wrapper in half and press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

9. Heat a large non-stick skillet or frying pan with a small amount of olive oil over medium heat.
