Pan-Seared Canadian Fish with Fresh Vegetable Soup
A hearty and flavorful soup paired with pan-seared Canadian fish. Perfect for a chilly evening.

- β4 Canadian fish fillet Fresh catch of the day
- β2 Fresh carrots Peeled and chopped
- β2 stalks Fresh celery Chopped
- β1 medium Onion Chopped
- β2 inches Ginger Grated
- β4 cups Chicken broth Low-sodium
- β2 cups Water For soup base
- β1 bunch Fresh parsley Chopped
- βto taste Salt For seasoning
- βto taste Black pepper For seasoning

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Season the fish fillet with salt and black pepper.

Add the fish to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add more oil if necessary, then add the chopped carrots, celery, and onion.
