Thit Nuong Grilled Pork with Bun
A classic Vietnamese dish featuring grilled pork served with steaming bun. The combination of flavors and textures is a delight to the senses.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Fresh Pork Shoulder
- β2 tablespoons Fermented Fish Sauce
- β4-6 pieces Vietnamese Bun
- β3 cloves Pungent Garlic
- β1/4 cup Nuoc Cham (Vietnamese Dipping Sauce)
- β1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro
- βto taste Black Pepper
- βto taste Salt
- β1 tablespoon Sugar
- β1/4 cup Water

1. In a small bowl, mix together fermented fish sauce, sugar, water, black pepper, and salt.

2. Add the mixture to a large bowl and add the sliced pork shoulder.

3. Mix well to coat the pork evenly.

4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

5. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

6. Remove the pork from the marinade and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
