Syrian Gyro-Style Ramen
A fusion of Japanese ramen and Syrian gyros, this dish combines the rich flavors of the Middle East with the comforting warmth of a bowl of noodles.
Ingredients
- β200g Fresh Ramen Noodles
- β250g Syrian Kofta Meat (beef/lamb mix)
- β50g Mayonnaisefor serving
- β4 slices Flatbread
- β2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- β4 Green Onionsfor garnish

Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Typically 3-5 minutes.

Preheat a pan or grill to medium-high heat.

Season the Syrian kofta with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 63Β°C (145Β°F) for medium-rare.

Slice the cooked kofta into thin strips.

In a separate pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the sliced green onions and cook for 1-2 minutes.

To assemble the dish, place a portion of cooked noodles in a bowl, followed by a few slices of the cooked kofta. Drizzle with soy sauce and garnish with additional green onions.

Serve the mayonnaise on the side for those who prefer.
