Japanese-Style Chicken Manti
A Japanese twist on the traditional Turkish dish, manti. Chicken drumsticks are wrapped in a delicate dough and steamed to perfection.
Ingredients
- β4-6 pieces chicken drumsticks
- β1 package manti doughavailable at most Asian grocery stores
- β2 tbsp sesame oil
- β1 tbsp soy sauce
- β1 tsp grated ginger
- β1/4 cup green onions
- β1 tsp sesame seeds
- βas needed water
Instructions

Preheat steamer to high heat.

Prepare manti dough according to package instructions.

Wrap each chicken drumstick with a piece of dough, making sure to seal the edges.

Steam the manti for 8-10 minutes, or until the dough is cooked and the chicken is heated through.

Heat sesame oil in a small pan over medium heat.

Add grated ginger and soy sauce to the pan and stir to combine.

Brush the sauce over the steamed manti.
