Seafood Tagine
A flavorful and aromatic North African stew made with a combination of seafood and spices.
Ingredients
- β1 bag (12 oz) Frozen Seafood Mix (shrimp, scallops, mussels)
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- β1 medium Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β2 inches Ginger
- β1 teaspoon Cumin
- β1 teaspoon Coriander
- β1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
- β1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large clay or ceramic tagine or Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the onion, garlic, and ginger to the pot and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the pot and cook for 1 minute.

Add the frozen seafood mix to the pot and stir to coat with the spice mixture.

Add 1 cup of water to the pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, until the seafood is cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.

Stir in the chopped parsley and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Serve the seafood hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
