Garlicky Paella
A classic Spanish dish with a twist of garlic flavor. Perfect for a dinner party.
Ingredients
- β2 cups garlicky saffron ricepreferably day-old rice
- β1 pound, sliced german sausagelook for a vegan alternative if needed
- β2 cups aerated vegetable brothlow-sodium option recommended
- β1 can, diced dish tomatoes
- β2 teaspoons paella seasoning
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β3 cloves, minced garlic
- β1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Heat the olive oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the diced tomatoes, paella seasoning, and smoked paprika. Stir to combine.

Add the aerated vegetable broth and bring the mixture to a boil.

Add the garlicky saffron rice to the pan and stir to combine.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.
