Cheesy Pull Bao
A fusion twist on traditional bao, filled with cheesy goodness and a hint of malaysian spices.
Ingredients
- β200g garlicky pull
- β400g cheesy bao dough
- β1 tsp malaysian chili flakes
- β4 wonton wrapper (for wrapping)
- β1 tbsp melted butter
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the bao dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch.

Place a spoonful of garlicky pull in the center of each dough circle.

Sprinkle a pinch of malaysian chili flakes on top of the filling.

Brush the edges of the dough with melted butter.

Fold the dough in half over the filling and press the edges to seal.

Use a wonton wrapper to wrap around the bao to create a package.

Brush the tops of the bao with additional melted butter.

Place the bao on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
