Grape Leaf Stuffed Casserole
A twist on traditional Indian recipes, this casserole combines the flavors of the Middle East with the convenience of grape leaves.
Ingredients
- β12-15 leaves Grape leavesFresh or jarred
- β1 package Middle eastern casseroleUsually found in international aisle
- β1/4 cup Garlicky sauceHomemade or store-bought
- β1/2 cup Creamy yogurtPlain, unflavored
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β2 inches GingerGrated
- β1 tsp CuminGround
- β1 tsp CorianderGround
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Rinse grape leaves and remove stems.

In a large pan, cook onion and ginger over medium heat until softened.

Add cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

Stir in garlicky sauce and creamy yogurt. Bring to a simmer.

Add grape leaves to the pan, folding them into the sauce.

Transfer grape leaf mixture to the casserole dish.

Cover with remaining grape leaves and bake for 25 minutes.
