Vietnamese Pho
A traditional Vietnamese noodle soup with a rich broth and flavorful toppings.
Ingredients
- β2 lbs Pork Bonespreferably with marrow
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 medium Onionsliced
- β2 inches Gingersliced
- β1 pound Vietnamese Pho Noodleswide rice noodles
- β2 tablespoons Pho Seasoningavailable at Asian markets
- β2 tablespoons Fish Sauceoptional
- β4 cups Beef Brothhomemade or store-bought

1. In a large pot, combine pork bones, garlic, onion, and ginger. Roast at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 30 minutes.

2. Add pho seasoning and fish sauce (if using) to the pot. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for at least 1 hour.

4. Cook pho noodles according to package instructions.

5. Slice cooked pork into thin strips.

6. Assemble pho bowls by placing noodles in the bottom, then adding sliced pork and hot broth.
