Saudi-Style Stew
A hearty, comforting stew inspired by the flavors of Saudi Arabia. This stew is made with tender meat and a blend of aromatic spices.
Ingredients

- β1 pound stew meat (beef or lamb)
- β1 medium onion
- β3 cloves garlic
- β2 tablespoons dense tomato paste
- β1 cup water
- β2 teaspoons saudia spices blend (or ground cumin, coriander, cinnamon)

Heat the ghee in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the onion and cook until it starts to brown, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the stew meat and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the tomato paste, water, and spices blend. Stir well to combine.

Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
