Beef Stew Russian Style
A hearty beef stew with Russian flavors and silky texture, served with garlicky notes.
Ingredients
- β1 pound beefcut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 tablespoons garlicky buttermelted
- β1/2 pound rusian sausagesliced
- β1 cup stewdry white wine
- β1 cup silkbeef broth
- β1 large onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 large carrotpeeled and chopped
- β1 large potatopeeled and chopped
- β1/4 cup dillchopped

Heat garlicky butter in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add beef and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove beef from pot and set aside.

Add russian sausage and cook until browned, about 3 minutes.

Add onion and garlic to pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add stew, silk, carrot, potato, and dill to pot.

Return beef to pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, until beef is tender, about 2 hours.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
