Venezuelan Plantain Patties
A Venezuelan-inspired dish featuring crispy plantain patties with a garlicky and zesty twist. Perfect as a snack or side dish.
Ingredients

- β1/4 cup garlicky breadcrumbs
- β2 tbsp zesty vegan mayo
- β1 tsp venezuelan seasoning
- β1 cup patty mix (vegan)
- β1/4 cup oil
Instructions

Peel and slice the plantains into 1-inch thick rounds.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Dip each plantain round into the patty mix, coating both sides evenly.

Place the coated plantain rounds in the skillet and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Remove the patties from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Mix the garlicky breadcrumbs and zesty vegan mayo in a small bowl.

Dip the fried plantain patties into the breadcrumb mixture to coat.
