Japanese Lamb Tagine

Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs lamb shoulder
- β2 gentle spring onions
- β2 tbsp malt vinegar
- β1 tbsp american whiskey
- β2 tsp tagine spice mix
- β2 tbsp soy sauce
- β1 tbsp brown sugar
- β1 tbsp honey
- β1 tbsp rice vinegar
- β1 cup sushi rice

Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the lamb shoulder on all sides, then set aside.

Soften the onions in the pot, then add the malt vinegar, whiskey, tagine spice mix, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, and rice vinegar.

Return the lamb to the pot and bring to a boil.

Transfer the pot to the oven and cook at 300Β°F (150Β°C) for 2.5 hours.
