Roasted Pork with Golden Gravy
A delicious roasted pork dish with a rich golden gravy, perfect for a special occasion.
Ingredients
- β2 pounds pork shoulder
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β2 cloves garlic
- β1 medium onion
- β2 sprigs rosemary
- β2 tablespoons golden mustard
- β1 cup red wine
- β1 cup beef broth
- β2 tablespoons flour

Preheat oven to 325Β°F (160Β°C).

Season the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, and rosemary.

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Sear the pork shoulder until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the pork to a plate and set aside.

Add the sliced onion to the pot and cook until caramelized, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the red wine and beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
