Bavarian Apple Strudel
A classic German dessert featuring layers of flaky pastry, sweet apples, and a hint of cinnamon.

- β2 medium apples
- β1/2 cup sugar
- β1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- β1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- β1/4 cup unsalted butter

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the flaky pastry on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well to combine.

Spread the apple mixture evenly over the center of the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Fold the 1-inch border over the apple mixture, then fold in the sides and roll the strudel into a tight log.

Place the strudel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam-side down.

Brush the top of the strudel with the melted butter.
