Gooey Dal Bites with Indian Prosciutto
A unique twist on traditional dal bites with crispy prosciutto and gooey goodness.
Ingredients
- β1 cup shredded Gooey cheese
- β1 cup cooked Monsoon moong dalany type of split green gram
- β4-6 pieces Indian flatbreador any other flatbread
- β6 slices Prosciuttothinly sliced
- β1/4 cup Chopped cilantro
- β2 tablespoons Lemon juice

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cut the prosciutto slices in half lengthwise.

Place a flatbread piece on a flat surface, and spread a spoonful of cooked dal on it.

Top the dal with a spoonful of gooey cheese, followed by a few pieces of prosciutto.

Fold the flatbread in half to enclose the filling, and press gently.

Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make more dal bites.

Place the dal bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the prosciutto is crispy.

Remove from the oven, and sprinkle with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lemon juice.
