Pan-Fried Ukrainian Pierogi with Gouda Cheese
A traditional Ukrainian dish filled with a blend of melted gouda cheese, served pan-fried to perfection. The crispy exterior and fluffy interior make this a delightful snack.
Ingredients
- β12-15 pieces ukrainian pierogi
- β8 oz, shredded gouda cheese
- β4-6 slices, crumbled crispy bacon
- β2 tbsp unsalted butter
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
Instructions

Heat 1 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the crumbled bacon and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes.

Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tbsp of butter to the skillet and melt.

Add the pierogi to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Add the shredded gouda cheese to the skillet and stir until melted and well combined with the pierogi.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
