Grilled Steak with German Skewers
A classic steak dish paired with a hearty German-inspired skewer, perfect for a summer evening.
Ingredients
- ●2 tbsp grassyfor marinade
- ●1 cup germanfor skewers
- ●1 (1.5-2 pound) steak steakribeye or strip loin
- ●10-12 steak skewerswooden or metal
Instructions

Preheat grill to 400°F (200°C).

In a small bowl, mix together grassy and 2 cloves of minced garlic for marinade.

Place steak in a large zip-top plastic bag. Pour marinade into bag, turning steak to coat.

Seal bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Thread german onto steak skewers, leaving 1/4 inch space between each piece.

Remove steak from marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Grill steak for 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches desired level of doneness.

Meanwhile, grill skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until lightly charred.
