Classic Tagliatelle Bolognese
A traditional Italian pasta dish made with ground meat and a rich tomato sauce. Serve with freshly cooked tagliatelle for a hearty and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- β12 oz (340g) Tagliatelle pasta
- β1 lb (450g) Grass-fed ground beef
- β1 medium Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup (15g) Fresh parsley
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β2 tbsp (30g) Ukrainian tomato paste

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the tagliatelle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the Ukrainian tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add the reserved pasta water to the skillet and stir to combine.

Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.

Add the cooked tagliatelle pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce.

Serve the tagliatelle hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Cooking time for the pasta is 8-10 minutes. Additional 15 minutes for preparation.
