Jamaican Paella
A flavorful and spicy paella dish inspired by the Caribbean, featuring smoky sausage and a hint of Jamaican jerk seasoning.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Smoky Sausage
- β2 teaspoons Jamaican Jerk Seasoning
- β1 medium Roasted Onion
- β1 cup Rice
- β1 cup Paellauncooked
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add the Smoky Sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the Roasted Onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

Add the Jamaican Jerk Seasoning and cook for 1 minute.

Add the Paella and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and cover with a lid.

Simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed and the rice is cooked.
