Pan-Seared Fish with Pancake Crust
A delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring pan-seared fish topped with a crispy pancake crust.
Ingredients
- β4-6 pancakes, crumbled Flour Pancakes
- β4 fish fillets (6 oz each) Fish Fillets (halal)any white fish such as cod or tilapia
- β2 cups Stock (fish-based)
- β2 tbsp Butter
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper

1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. In a large bowl, mix together crumbled pancakes and a pinch of salt and pepper.

3. In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat.

4. Dip each fish fillet in the melted butter and then coat with the pancake mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

5. Place the coated fish in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.

6. While the fish is baking, heat the stock in a saucepan over medium heat.

7. Remove the fish from the oven and serve with the heated stock.
