Turkish-Style Kofte Kebabs
A classic Turkish dish made with flavorful kofte meatballs, served with a side of toasted bread and a fresh salad.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Kofte meatballs ( Turkish-style beef and lamb meatballs )Available at most Middle Eastern markets or online
- β4-6 pieces Pita bread
- β1/4 cup chopped Fresh parsley
- β1/2 cup thinly sliced Red onion
- β1/2 cup thinly sliced Cucumber
- β1 medium, diced Tomato
- β1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakesOptional, for some heat
- βto taste Salt and black pepper
- β2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Thread 4-6 kofte meatballs onto skewers, leaving a small space between each meatball.

Brush the grill with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Grill the kofte meatballs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.

Meanwhile, toast the pita bread by wrapping it in foil and heating it in the oven for 5-7 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine chopped parsley, red onion, cucumber, tomato, and red pepper flakes.

Squeeze lemon juice over the salad and toss to combine.

Serve the grilled kofte meatballs with toasted pita bread and a side of the fresh salad.
