Jamaican Beef Hash
A flavorful hash made with beef, onions, bell peppers, and a hint of Caribbean spice.
Ingredients
- β1 lb Beef (ground)80/20 lean to fat ratio
- β1 medium Onion
- β1 large Bell Pepper
- β2 cups Hash
- β2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
- β1 teaspoon Spicy jerk seasoning
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β2 tablespoons Coconut oilfor frying
Instructions

Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender.

Add the hash and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.

Sprinkle the flour and jerk seasoning over the top of the hash mixture and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the hash is lightly browned and crispy.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Transfer the hash to a serving dish and serve hot.

Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro, if desired.
