Filipino Buried Lechon

- β1 cup bisikcoconut milk
- β2 tablespoons fish sauceoptional
- β1 teaspoon black pepperfreshly ground
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β4-6 banana leavesfresh or dried

Preheat oven to 275Β°F (135Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine pork, bisik, fish sauce, black pepper, garlic, and onion. Mix well.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil and sear the pork until browned on all sides.

Transfer the pork to a baking dish and cover with banana leaves.

Bake for 2-3 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
