Cheesy Italian Skewers

- β1 baguette, cut into 1-inch cubes Italian breadday-old bread works best
- β1 cup, sliced Mozzarella cheesefresh or store-bought
- β1/4 cup, chopped Fresh basiloptional
- β2 tablespoons Olive oilfor brushing bread
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Skewer bread, mozzarella, and basil (if using) onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.
