British Cheese Fritters
A crispy and hearty British-inspired snack featuring cheese fritters made with curds and a hint of savory flavors.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups All-purpose flourcan use gluten-free flour
- β1 cup Cheddar cheese curdsgrated
- β2 tablespoons Bacon bits (optional)for added savory flavor
- β2 large Eggs
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β1/2 cup Buttermilk

Preheat oil to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and black pepper.

Add grated cheese curds, bacon bits (if using), and whisk until just combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and buttermilk.

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
