Traditional Ukrainian Dumplings
A hearty Ukrainian dish made with crispy potato-filled dumplings. Perfect for a cold winter's night.
Ingredients
- β2 cups All-purpose flour
- β1 cup Warm water
- β1 cup Mashed potatoes
- β2 tablespoons Butter, melted
- βto taste Salt and pepper

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and warm water to form a dough.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Divide the dough into small pieces and roll out each piece into a thin circle.

Place a tablespoon of mashed potatoes in the center of each circle.

Fold the dough over the potatoes and press the edges together to seal.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the melted butter.

When the butter has melted, add the dumplings to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until crispy and golden brown.
