Canadian Fried Steak Burger
A mouth-watering twist on a classic burger, featuring a crispy fried steak patty and topped with your favorite ingredients.

- β1/2 cup BreadcrumbsPanko or regular breadcrumbs
- β2 EggsBeaten
- β1 cup All-purpose Flour
- β1 cup Vegetable Oil
- β4 Burger Buns
- β4 slices Cheese (optional)Cheddar, Swiss, or your preferred cheese
- β2 heads Lettuce
- β2 Tomato
- β1 OnionThinly sliced
- β4 slices Pickles

1. Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

2. In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs and a pinch of salt.

3. In a separate dish, beat the eggs.

4. Season the steak with salt and pepper.

5. Dredge the steak in the flour, shaking off excess.

6. Dip the floured steak in the eggs, making sure it's fully coated.

7. Roll the egg-coated steak in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the crumbs onto the meat to ensure they stick.

8. Repeat steps 5-7 for the second steak patty.

9. Carefully place the coated steak patties into the hot oil.

10. Fry the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked to your desired level of doneness.

11. Remove the steak from the oil and place it on a wire rack to drain excess oil.

12. Meanwhile, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

13. Assemble the burger by spreading mayonnaise or ketchup on the bottom bun, followed by a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a few slices of onion, a pickle slice, a steak patty, and finally the top bun.
