Croatian Lamb Skillet
A hearty and flavorful skillet dish made with lamb, onions, and croatian seasonings. Serve with a side of crusty bread for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Lamb Shouldercut into 1-inch cubes
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●1 sheet Flaky Pastrythawed
- ●2 tablespoons Skillet Seasoningsee notes
- ●2 tablespoons Olive Oilfor cooking
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black Pepper
- ●1/4 cup Fresh Parsleychopped (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the lamb cubes with salt and black pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the lamb cubes and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet and sauté the chopped onion until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the skillet seasoning and stir to combine.

Return the lamb cubes to the skillet and stir to coat with the seasoning mixture.

Roll out the flaky pastry to fit the top of the skillet and place on top of the lamb mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and the lamb is cooked through.

Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
