Jamaican Jerk Pork Bake
A flavorful and spicy Jamaican-inspired dish featuring slow-cooked pork in a jerk seasoning mixture, served with a crispy baked crust.
Ingredients

- ●1 cup all-purpose flourfor coating
- ●2 tablespoons jamaican jerk seasoningstore-bought or homemade
- ●1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ●1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ●1 cup bakeshredded, for topping
- ●2 tablespoons heart-healthy olive oil

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a small bowl, mix together jerk seasoning, brown sugar, and soy sauce.

Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder, making sure to coat it evenly.

Coat the pork shoulder with flour, shaking off any excess.

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the pork until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the pork to a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.

Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C).
