Deodeok Wrap
A hearty Korean-inspired wrap filled with braised Deodeok root and crispy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 medium-sized root Deodeok root
- β1 tsp Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- β1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- β1 medium-sized Onion
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1-inch piece Ginger
- β1 tsp Sesame oil
- β1 tsp Sesame seeds
- β1 large wrap Korean wrap
- β1/4 cup Green onions
Instructions

Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Add the sliced Deodeok root and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the Korean chili flakes and sesame oil, and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Season with salt to taste.

Warm the Korean wrap according to package instructions.

Assemble the wrap by spooning the Deodeok mixture onto the center of the wrap.

Top with green onions and sesame seeds.
